Job summary

Nottingham City Council is seeking individuals for a permanent, full-time role based at Woolsthorpe Depot to support the Passenger Transport Service. The position focuses on contract compliance, data management and processing travel-related applications in a dynamic environment.

You will handle routes, schedules, and procurement data while liaising with schools, operators and parents. A DBS check is required; hybrid working may be available for this role.

Qualifications

• Good IT skills to provide data, spreadsheets and performance reporting.
• Background of transport or key enablers to service delivery.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• An understanding of Safeguarding and role of care services provided by the contract.
• Experience in contract monitoring and compliance.
• Ability to be creative, identify problems and work to create solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Passenger Transport Service in commissioned transport provision.
• Assist to ensure contract compliance for all commissioned transport provision.
• Prepare specifications, schedules, routes and data for commissioning transport services.
• Maintain routes and data changes with pupil referral requests.
• Process travel pass applications and personal travel budget mileage contributions and parent contributions.
• Prepare contracts, service agreements and specifications including procurement requirements.
