Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is seeking a Scheduler for a client in St Neots to join the Operations team on a full-time permanent basis.

The role focuses on coordinating daily transport operations, scheduling vehicles, drivers, and resources, with 40 hours per week, 8:00am-5:00pm, and a salary of £28,000-£30,000.

Qualifications

• Previous scheduling experience, ideally within transport, logistics or distribution.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily deliveries, collections, routes and driver schedules.
• Monitor vehicle and driver availability and respond to changes or delays.
• Liaise with drivers, customers and internal teams to keep operations running smoothly.
• Optimise routes to maximise fleet efficiency and minimise costs.
• Track deliveries, collections, defects and daily vehicle checks.
• Maintain accurate schedules, records and operational documentation.
• Support compliance with UK transport regulations and driver hours legislation.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance and fleet availability.
• Produce reports and assist the Transport Manager as required.

Location:St Neots
Salary:£28,000-£30,000 per annum
Hours:40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
