Job summary

OXG is seeking a proactive Transport Clerk to join its busy transport department in Islip near Northamptonshire. You will plan routes, coordinate with drivers and warehouses, and support day-to-day delivery operations in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates will have experience in logistics, strong IT skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), and familiarity with Paragon TMS. A weekend shift premium applies for relevant hours.

Qualifications

• Previous roles within a similar environment.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and regulations.
• Strong IT skills with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Familiarity with Paragon Transport Management System.
• Understanding of logistics/supply chain operations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily transport routes efficiently.
• Analyse data and track KPIs using Excel.
• Prepare transport reports and support operational decision-making.
• Liaise with drivers, warehouse staff, and external partners.
• Identify improvements to transport efficiency and route planning.
