Job summary

Vincere invites a proactive Transport Operations Planner to join our Ipswich area operations. You will coordinate day-to-day transport with 3rd party hauliers, plan multi-drops and back loads, and monitor ETAs to keep collections and deliveries on time.

You’ll liaise with customers, depots and internal teams, keep paperwork and TMS/PODs up to date, and respond calmly under pressure with strong organisational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport/logistics planning.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Proficient with transport management systems (TMS).
• Proactive problem-solver.

Role:

Transport Operations Planner Location: Outskirts of Ipswich, Suffolk Monday – Friday: 08:00 – 17:00

About the Role…

We’re looking for a proactive Transport Operations Planner to coordinate day-to-day transport using 3rd party hauliers.

You’ll plan multi-drops, straight loads and back loads (non-container) to keep collections and deliveries running safely and on time.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Plan and book daily loads with 3rd party carriers. Build efficient multi-drop routes and back loads. Track ETAs, manage delays and keep customers updated. Keep paperwork and system updates accurate (TMS/PODs). Liaise with customers, depots and internal teams.

About You:

Transport/logistics planning experience. Strong organisation, calm under pressure, great communication. Confident with transport systems/TMS. Proactive problem-solver.
