Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Snetterton is seeking a Transport Planner to join a small team, focusing on route planning and building strong relationships with customers and drivers to deliver efficient service.

We require experience as a Transport Planner or similar role, solid UK geography knowledge, and familiarity with WTD regulations. Proficiency in MS Office and transport planning software, plus strong communication, are essential. Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm with some flexibility.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Transport Planner or similar operational role.
• Strong knowledge of UK geography.
• Knowledge of WTD regulations is essential.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office and a transport planning tool.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide final route plans to the warehouse within the agreed timescale.
• Ensure compliance with EU Driver hours regulations.
• Monitor daily driver progress and update customers as required.
• Manage subcontractor costs to stay in line with agreed rates.
