Job summary

GXO Warrington is seeking a Transport Planner to join our busy national planning centre, ensuring the safe delivery of B&Q products throughout the UK and developing efficient daily routes across the network.

This full-time permanent role operates on an any 5 from 7 shift pattern (typically 8:30am–4:30pm, with variations 7:00am–6:00pm). GXO offers a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities through GXO University.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, administrative, or operational support roles.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Organised and able to prioritise workload.

Responsibilities

• Plan efficient daily routes across the UK while minimising empty miles.
• Ensure compliance with drivers’ hours and the Working Time Directive.
• Proactively sub-contract overflow work while maintaining profit margins.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to meet budgets and service levels.
