Job summary

GXO Logistics in Snetterton is seeking a Transport Planner to join our team. You will plan routes, work closely with customers and drivers, and drive efficiency while controlling costs.

Working Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm with some flexibility. Salary up to £33,990 plus a comprehensive benefits package including pension, private medical and dental insurance, 24/7 online GP service, life assurance and more.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Transport Planner or similar role with route planning and UK geography knowledge.
• WTD regulations knowledge is essential.
• Proficient use of Microsoft and transport planning software.

Responsibilities

• Provide final route plans to warehouse operations within the required timescales.
• Ensure compliance with EU Driver Hours regulations.
• Handle customer issues and monitor drivers daily progress with updates.
• Manage subcontractor costs in line with agreed rates and resolve queries promptly.
