Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an experienced Transport Manager to lead a busy Costa site operation in Wellingborough. You will manage a team of transport professionals, ensure safety, service levels and cost-efficient delivery, and maintain strong client relationships.

You will KPI-track budgets and performance, develop your team, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced logistics environment. This full-time role offers Mon–Fri hours 09:00–17:00 with some flexibility.

Qualifications

• Experience leading transport operations in a fast-paced logistics environment.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing people.
• Experience monitoring KPIs and budgets to drive efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day transport operations with focus on service, safety and compliance.
• Manage and develop your team, setting clear objectives and driving performance.
• Monitor KPIs, budgets and transport costs; identify efficiency opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with Costa site and stakeholders to deliver outstanding service.
• Drive continuous improvement across the operation, with emphasis on health & safety and compliance.
