Job summary

TUI Group in Southampton seeks a Transport Executive to help plan and book transportation for Turnarounds and Shore Excursions, ensuring deadlines are met. You will liaise with transport suppliers, source new providers, and support bookings with accuracy.

Strong Excel, English proficiency, and organizational skills are essential. You'll work closely with the Turnarounds and Shore Excursions teams to optimise transport, monitor requirements, and handle ad hoc admin tasks.

• Strong MS Excel and Office proficiency.
• Commercial awareness and acumen.
• Ability to analyse data.
• Very organized and independent/team player.
• Excellent customer service and communication.
• Problem solving and multitasking abilities.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written); other languages a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in transportation planning by liaising with transport suppliers.
• Source new transport suppliers and negotiate rates.
• Identify key dates to optimize service usage.
• Support booking process once vehicles allocated.
• Confirm transfer bookings with suppliers.
• Monitor transportation requirements and manage bookings/cancellations.
• Support wider team with day-to-day transport tasks.
• Produce costing sheets and verify costs.
• Check supplier invoices against bookings.
• Resolve discrepancies with suppliers and accounts.
• Learn and update in-house systems/database.
• Ad hoc administrative tasks.
