Qualifications

• Experience in a transport planning consultancy or similar environment.
• Strong understanding of development planning and the UK planning system.
• Experience preparing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and/or Travel Plans.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work to deadlines.
• Comfortable communicating with clients, local authorities and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Preparing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans.
• Providing transport planning advice for residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.
• Undertaking development feasibility and transport strategy work.
• Supporting the preparation of planning applications and associated technical reports.
• Carrying out junction and network assessments, including traffic modelling where required.
• Liaising with local authorities, clients and other project stakeholders.
• Contributing to masterplanning and site access strategies.
• Supporting the development and delivery of sustainable and active travel solutions.
• Assisting with the management of projects, programmes and client relationships.
• Working collaboratively with wider multidisciplinary teams.
