Job summary

Vivid Resourcing is seeking an experienced Transport Planner in Nottingham to join a growing transport planning team. The role involves delivering a range of development and infrastructure projects from feasibility through to planning submission, with a mix of technical delivery and client-facing work.

You will work on transport assessments, statements, and travel plans, liaising with clients, local authorities, and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Experience working within a transport planning consultancy or similar environment.
• Strong understanding of development planning and the UK planning system.
• Experience preparing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and/or Travel Plans.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans.
• Provide transport planning advice for residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.
• Undertake development feasibility and transport strategy work.
• Support the preparation of planning applications and technical reports.
• Carry out junction and network assessments, including traffic modelling.
