Job summary

Culina Group Limited is seeking a Transport Planner to manage day-to-day transport operations across the UK, coordinating subcontractors and planning workloads for a mixed fleet. The role requires proactive problem solving, strong organisational skills and the ability to communicate across teams.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate transport planning expertise in a busy, demanding environment.
• Show excellent problem solving, analytical and organisational skills.

• Identify improvements to benefit the company and customers.

• Knowledge of SAP, BPCS and Road Runner is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day transport operation planning.
• Subcontract and plan orders across multiple facilities in the UK.
• Complete compliance admin to support daily/weekly tasks.
• Plan daily workload for vehicles on and off site.
• Handle queries from customers, sub-contract hauliers and sites.
• Coordinate with Traffic and Admin teams to maintain high standards.
• Maintain/update spreadsheets and databases for reports.
• Report problems and resolve queries promptly.
• Support fleet and driver training as required.
• Conduct pre- and post-debriefs for driver shifts.
