Job summary

Culina Group Limited is seeking a Transport Planner for its Transport Logistics division in the UK. The role involves delivering day-to-day transport planning with a fast-paced environment and 4 on 4 off nights (18:00-06:00).

Salary up to £33,000 depending on experience, with duties across multiple warehouses and manufacturing sites; you’ll assemble loads, subcontract as needed, and monitor KPIs. Key responsibilities include planning 100 daily collections, using the latest TMS, and continuous

Qualifications

• Good geographical knowledge of the UK.
• Proficient in MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
• Experience of planning units across multiple depots.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to succeed in a pressurised environment.
• Customer focus on delivery performance.
• Commercially and financially astute and driven to deliver results.
• Experience of using a TMS system.
• Experience in an FMCG environment.
• Strong analytical and Excel capability across standard formulas.

Responsibilities

• Work with Transport and Warehouse teams to create an efficient transport plan using the latest TMS.
• Assembling of 400+ consolidated orders into loads in every 24hr period.
• Subcontracting and planning orders from multiple warehouse facilities and manufacturing sites across the UK.
• Planning daily workload of fleet: vehicles based on site and outbases.
• Reporting problems and dealing with issues and queries that may arise.
• Planning approx. 100 collections per day on a time-critical basis.
• Maintaining and exceeding agreed KPI’s.
• Proactively look for continuous improvements.
• Be able to make decisions under pressure and to a tight timescale.
• Have a flexible and adaptable approach to working to meet business requirements, especially at peak periods.
• Efficiently utilise the Culina Group network in support Warrens when volumes dictate.
