Job summary

Aldwych Consulting Ltd in London is seeking a Transport Planner to join its growing team. The role offers flexible/agile working and exposure to a varied portfolio of development planning and infrastructure projects.

With at least 2 years' consultancy experience, you will prepare Transport Assessments, Travel Plans and supporting reports, develop multimodal access strategies and contribute to masterplanning transport strategies for large schemes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' consultancy experience in transport planning
• Degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography or related
• Understanding of planning system & transport requirements
• Experience preparing TA/TS/Travel Plans
• Familiarity with PICADY, ARCADY and LinSig

Responsibilities

• Preparing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans
• Developing multimodal access strategies for development projects
• Contributing to feasibility studies and transport strategies for large sites
• Collecting, analysing and interpreting transport data
• Undertaking junction modelling and highway capacity assessments
• Producing plans to support planning submissions
• Supporting transport scheme/layout design
• Liaising with clients, project teams and authorities
• Attending site visits and public consultations
• Supporting business development and industry relationships
