Qualifications

• Significant experience as a transport planner within consultancy, local authority, or development sectors.
• Strong knowledge of UK transport planning policy and guidance (TfL, DfT, NPPF).
• Proficiency in traffic modelling software (ARCADY, PICADY, LINSIG, VISSIM).
• Excellent project management, leadership, and client management skills.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Leading the preparation of Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, and Travel Plans.
• Providing expert advice on traffic modelling, junction design, and highway capacity assessments.
• Managing projects, budgets, and client relationships.
• Mentoring and developing junior staff and graduates.
• Producing high-quality reports, technical drawings, and planning submissions.
• Liaising with clients, local authorities, and multidisciplinary project teams.
