Job summary

Streamline Search is seeking a Transport Planner for the London Gateway depot. You will coordinate drivers, book UK port delivery slots, and use TOPS to log hours while monitoring ETAs and ensuring accurate POD matching. Strong UK geography knowledge and independent work style are essential for success.

The role offers 4 on, 4 off shifts (06:00-18:00) with a focus on reliable, timely freight operations and customer communication. A solid logistics background is required.

• Proven experience in transport operations is essential.

• Strong knowledge of the UK geography and routes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate multiple drivers daily.
• Liaise directly with UK ports to book delivery slots.
• Use the TOPS transport system to record drivers' start and finish times.
• Monitor ETAs and ensure timely deliveries.
• Reroute jobs efficiently when required.
• Ensure all PODs are matched with corresponding jobs in the system.
• Communicate with customers regarding potential delays and updates.
