Job summary

Streamline Search is seeking an organized Transport Planner in Portsmouth to join a busy pallet distribution and haulage operation. You will support route planning, driver coordination and daily transport scheduling, ensuring on-time deliveries across the UK.

The role also covers customer bookings, administration, and duties across the pallet network, with a mix of on-site hours and a 1-in-4 Saturday home-working rota.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in transport planning or logistics.
• Good geographical knowledge of the UK.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with route planning and daily transport scheduling.
• Plan vehicles for Isle of Wight deliveries, including movements involving ADR goods.
• Coordinate with drivers and the warehouse to resolve day-to-day queries.
• Book in customer deliveries and collections.
• Monitor transport movements and assist with resolving any issues or delays.
• Carry out Saturday delivery checks as part of the 1-in-4 home-working rota.
