I am working with a well-established fresh produce business that supplies time-sensitive products to customers across the UK. They are looking for a Transport Planner to join their logistics team and play a key role in ensuring customer orders are delivered on time, in full and to the highest service standards.
This is a fast-paced planning role where you'll be responsible for coordinating deliveries to customers nationwide. While inbound transport routes are already established, you'll be managing the movement of products from site to customers, working closely with internal teams, hauliers and customer service colleagues to keep everything running smoothly.
The business operates a mix of its own fleet for local deliveries and a network of third-party logistics providers across the UK. As a result, you'll need to be confident managing multiple transport partners, balancing vehicle utilisation and ensuring the most efficient delivery solutions are in place.
