Job summary

Time Appointments Ltd is seeking a Transport Planner to join our client’s team in a fast-paced environment in the UK. The role involves coordinating delivery schedules, organizing collections and deliveries, and liaising with drivers, customers and suppliers to ensure efficient transport operations.

You will monitor progress, respond to delays, maintain transport records, and use Microsoft Office and related IT systems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in transport planning role.
• Strong geographical knowledge of the UK road network.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and confidence using role related systems
• Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise competing demands
• A practical, flexible approach to resolving problems and managing changing workloads
