Job summary

Grn-Search-Group in Dungannon, Northern Ireland, is seeking a Transport Planner to plan daily work schedules and routing for drivers, optimise deliveries, and ensure compliance with EU tachograph rules.

You will coordinate with the fleet team, manage vehicle usage, and contribute to efficient logistics across Northern Ireland. Monday to Friday with Saturdays on rotation, offering progression opportunities and training to develop your career in a growing transport firm.

Qualifications

• Experience in Transport/Logistics Planning/Coordinating.
• Knowledge of EU Tachograph Regulations & WTD.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily work schedule and routing for drivers.
• Accommodate additional customer orders efficiently on a daily basis.
• Ensure operations are carried out in accordance with legal, environmental and company policies.
• Work with the Fleet Maintenance team to ensure vehicles are maintained.
• Monday to Friday, Saturdays on rotation.

Do you have previous Transport or Logistics Planning/Coordinating experience? Are you looking for an opportunity to progress your career into aspecialist planningrole?

Working alongside the existing Transport team, you will be planning bulk feed collections & deliveries across Northern Ireland. Managing the fleet & trailer usage and complying with EU tachograph laws is essential and a sound geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland would be beneficial.

If have a good understanding of EU Tachograph Regulations, WTD and excel in a constantly challenging environment, this is a great opportunity to join a growing transport firm, that will develop their staff with long term career options.

An interest in/knowledge of the agricultural feed sector would be beneficial, but not essential as training will be given.

The Role:
