Job summary

Brook Street Recruitment is collaborating with a Lisburn-based client to recruit a Transport Planner. The role focuses on coordinating deliveries across Northern Ireland, Great Britain and Ireland, optimizing routes for cost efficiency and on-time service.

You will plan and allocate deliveries, schedule drivers, maintain records, and liaise with Customer Services and Sales to set delivery expectations. Working Monday to Friday, 11:00am–8:00pm, with benefits and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Transport Planner or within a similar logistics environment.
• Strong understanding of transport-related IT systems.
• Good geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland, Great Britain, and the Republic of Ireland.
• Excellent planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify and drive operational improvements.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across all business levels.
• Monday to Friday, 11:00am to 8:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Customer Services and Sales teams to manage delivery expectations and resolve issues proactively.
• Manage workload effectively while handling customer enquiries across multiple communication channels.
• Maintain accurate records and provide information as required.
• Meet performance targets, deadlines, and service standards.
