Manpower UK, recruiting on behalf of our client, seeks a Transport Planner in Peterborough to plan and schedule transport operations, optimise vehicle utilisation and coordinate with drivers to meet KPIs and cost targets.

You will handle driver loads, liaise with hauliers, analyse data and maintain strong customer service in a fast‑paced logistics environment.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum experience in transport planning is required.
• Knowledge of transport legislation and the Working Time Directive.
• Experience with routing and scheduling systems; strong IT and communication skills.
• Ability to work rotating shifts between 6am and 6pm.

You will be responsible for planning and scheduling transport operations, optimising vehicle utilisation, coordinating with drivers and hauliers, and ensuring outstanding customer service while meeting operational KPIs and cost targets.
