Job summary

Simply Jobsworth is seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join our busy transport operation in Tipton. The role involves planning daily deliveries, coordinating drivers and loads, and ensuring efficient route planning to maximise fleet utilisation.

You will monitor operations, resolve delays and communicate with drivers, customers and warehouse teams. A solid understanding of drivers' hours and transport compliance is required, along with strong organisational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in transport planning or coordination.
• Good UK geographical knowledge.
• Understanding of drivers' hours and transport compliance.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and solve problems.
• Experience with TMS and Microsoft Office.

WE'RE HIRING - TRANSPORT PLANNER

Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum, with salary increase after 6 months
Hours:40 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday-Friday
Contract: Full-time, permanent
