Job summary

Swift Temps Ltd is recruiting an experienced Transport Operator for a Daventry-based role. The position runs Monday to Friday, 06:00-15:00, with a pay rate of £16.20 per hour. This temporary role is a stepping stone to permanent employment within a leading logistics provider.

The successful candidate will schedule compliance bookings, allocate drivers, monitor KPIs, and maintain driver communications to ensure legal driving compliance and efficient service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and complete all compliance bookings within legal timelines.
• Allocate drivers across our two-man crew network and general haulage operations.
• Monitor and record daily driver KPIs to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Maintain regular communication with drivers to ensure task completion and legal driving compliance.
• Support the team in adapting to new contracts and customer requirements.
• Provide a high level of customer service through dynamic and flexible logistical support.
