Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is recruiting a Transport Clerk in Bridgwater to support the transport operation and scheduling activities. You will handle proofs of delivery, uploads, and driver communications to maintain smooth daily operations.

The role requires experience in transport operations, knowledge of driver compliance, and strong computer skills. It offers a permanent full-time contract, 45 hours per week, with on-site responsibilities and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a transport operation environment.
• Strong knowledge of legal compliance and working time directive for drivers.
• Excellent communication and PC skills across Microsoft packages.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in administration tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage proofs of delivery scans and returns.
• Conduct daily driver briefings and de-briefings.
• Monitor driver schedules and escalations using Microlise.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety policies and company procedures.
