Job summary

ACS Staffing Solutions is seeking a Transport Coordinator for their Bedford-based operations. The role focuses on organising daily deliveries, coordinating with major transport partners, and ensuring on‑time performance in a fast-paced environment.

You will work closely with warehouse and customer service teams to resolve issues, manage costs, and support both UK and international shipments. Immediate start for suitable candidates.

Responsibilities

• Organise daily deliveries and collections for business and individual customers.
• Book shipments and liaise with transport companies (DHL, DPD, UPS, Royal Mail, Evri, Amazon).
• Track deliveries and resolve delays or issues.
• Communicate with transport companies to keep deliveries on time.
• Monitor transport costs and verify delivery charges.
• Assist in organising transport capacity during busy periods.
• Coordinate UK and international shipments, including hazardous goods when required.
• Collaborate with warehouse and customer service teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure transport operations run efficiently and customers receive good service.

What will you be doing?

• Organising daily deliveries and collections for both business and individual customers.
• Booking shipments and liaising with transport companies such as DHL, DPD, UPS, Royal Mail, Evri and Amazon.
• Tracking deliveries and dealing with any delays or delivery problems.
• Communicating with transport companies to make sure deliveries run on time.
• Monitoring transport costs and checking delivery charges.
• Helping organise transport capacity during busy periods.
• Coordinating UK and international shipments, including hazardous goods where required.
