Job Title: Transport Operator

Working Hours:

Monday-Friday 7am-5:30pm
Alternate Saturdays 7am-12pm

About the Role

Platinum Recruitment is partnering with a recycling centre in Wimborne, Dorset, to recruit a Transport Operator. The successful candidate will operate the weighbridge and manage vehicle movements entering and leaving the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Control the movement of all vehicles entering and leaving the site
• Ensure materials are deposited accurately and in accordance with licensing requirements
• Maintain the weighbridge and surrounding area
• Perform transport, administrative, and customer service duties
• Book jobs and route vehicles
• Operate company software systems (InfoTech BridgeMont Plus, RoadTrak, PurGo)
• Check loads for compliance with site licensing and EWC codes
