Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Dartford is seeking a Transport Administrator on a full-time, permanent basis to support IKEA's distribution centre.

You will work a 4 on–4 off pattern from 09:00 to 21:00, performing transport clerical duties and vehicle administration as part of a busy logistics operation. The role requires strong organisation, communication and customer service skills, and understanding of Tachograph compliance and Working Time Directives.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
• Excellent organisation, communication, and customer service skills.
• Understanding of Tachograph compliance and Working Time Directives.
• Good MS Office knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of transport clerical duties for the site.
• Be part of a team that is responsible for vehicle administration.
• Manage customer service both internally and externally.
• Support the transport operation in compliance to company processes.
• Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports as requested in a timely manner.
