Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc is recruiting a Transport Administrator for the Iceland Distribution Centre in Warrington (WA5 3PW). The role is full-time and permanent, operating on a 4 on 4 off night shift from 06:00 to 18:00 to keep vehicles moving and customers satisfied across the UK.

You will dispatch drivers, handle transport paperwork, maintain records and support an efficient transport operation while delivering excellent service in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills to prioritise workloads effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in transport paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch drivers and support the successful delivery of the daily transport plan.
• Conduct driver debriefs and ensure all transport paperwork is completed accurately.
• Manage transport administration and maintain up-to-date operational records.
• Monitor and update transport systems, including driver and vehicle information.
• Build strong working relationships with drivers, colleagues and customers.
• Resolve customer queries and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

We're looking for aTransport Administratorto join our night shift operation at theIceland Distribution Centre in Warrington (WA5 3PW). Working behind the scenes, you'll help keep vehicles moving, drivers compliant and customers happy, ensuring products reach stores across the UK. You'll play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the transport operation, helping to coordinate deliveries efficiently while maintaining excellent service standards.

This is afull-time, permanent position, working4 on 4 off shift pattern covering the hours between 06:00 and 18:00.
