Job summary

Strive Supply Chain Limited, a leading UK-wide logistics recruiter, is seeking a Transport Operations Manager to lead a high-volume, multi-drop operation in Salisbury, Wiltshire. You will manage a transport leadership team, ensure compliance with Operator Licence and WTD, and drive performance, cost control and safety.

Qualifications

Transport Manager CPC qualification required.
Proven experience managing a large HGV fleet with maintenance planning and defect management.
Strong knowledge of transport legislation, Operator Licence requirements and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

Lead the Transport Leadership Team and driver workforce.
Act as the nominated Transport Manager and ensure compliance with Operator Licence undertakings and WTD.
Deliver service, productivity, safety and compliance KPIs, including OTIF.
Manage transport budgets, fleet costs and departmental financial performance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on service, efficiency, productivity and cost reduction.
