Job summary

Bidfood UK is seeking a Transport Operations Manager to lead a large-scale transport operation. You will drive safe, compliant, cost-efficient and timely deliveries to customers, overseeing route planning, fleet utilisation and the transport system stack.

You will manage a high-performing transport leadership team, budgets and KPIs, and spearhead continuous improvement. CPC qualification and 80+ driver management experience are essential in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• CPC Transport Manager qualification is essential.
• Experience managing a large HGV fleet (80+ drivers).
• Strong knowledge of transport legislation and compliance.
• Proven track record delivering service and cost improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Transport Leadership Team and drivers.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with Operator Licence undertakings.
• Maintain safe, compliant fleet operation with maintenance planning.
• Deliver OTIF and KPI targets.
• Manage transport budgets and costs.
