Job summary

Booker Group in Fareham is seeking a Transport Clerical Admin to provide essential administrative support to the Transport department. You will coordinate vehicle movements, driver activities, delivery schedules and transport documentation while ensuring compliance with procedures and legal requirements.

You will handle transport records, update systems, communicate with drivers, monitor times, and generate KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Process and maintain transport records and documentation.
• Input, update, and monitor transport information using internal systems.
• Communicate with drivers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, delays, and issues.
• Monitor driver start and finish times and record attendance.
• Produce transport reports, KPIs, and operational data.
• Support vehicle routing and scheduling activities.
• Maintain records related to vehicle compliance, servicing, MOTs, and driver licences.
• Investigate delivery discrepancies, delays, and customer service issues.
• Liaise with warehouse, transport, and customer service teams for smooth operations.
• Process transport paperwork including delivery notes, PODs, and invoices.
• Ensure transport administration is completed accurately within timescales.
