Role Overview

Our drivers take care of our customers. You’ll take care of them. Handling the day-to-day management of our entire transport department with a fleet of circa 130 and leading an overall team of circa 200 colleagues, you’ll ensure safety, service, and efficiency goals are exceeded. You’ll plan resources, support team leaders, and coordinate with new customers to understand and meet their needs.

What You Bring

An excellent communicator and leader with experience managing a large fleet of HGVs and vans. You should have:

• Experience working with planners and fleet coordinators
• Knowledge of health & safety and food safety regulations
• Ability to develop and motivate a team
• Experience in recruitment and induction processes
• Understanding of budgets and cost control
• A CPC qualification, or willingness to obtain one within your first year
