Job Title: Transport Manager
Location: Lancaster
Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 + Benefits

Duties:

• Lead daily haulage operations, ensuring compliance with legal, industry, and health & safety standards.
• Provide leadership to cross-functional teams, including drivers and transport office staff.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring consistent service and proactive communication.
• Manage P&L, aligning resource planning with operational and financial goals.
• Develop a high-performance team through leadership, mentoring, and development.
• Ensure adherence to DVSA guidelines, O-Licence conditions, tachograph rules, and working time directives.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in Transport & Operations Management
• Experience in Transport Compliance
• Staff Management, Route Optimization, Cost Saving
• CPC Certification required
