Job summary

ArrowXL is seeking a Transport First Line Manager for its Wigan depot on PM shifts (14:00-22:00). You will lead a two‑person home delivery operation, drive safety, efficiency and engagement, and coach teams to meet service and delivery targets. DBS checks may apply; apply with your CV and professional references.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience leading and managing teams in a transport operation.
• Knowledge of Road Transport Regulations and hold a National CPC.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of Service Delivery Crews and Team Leaders to drive high performance.
• Maximise fleet utilisation through resource planning and cost control while ensuring safety and compliance.
• Take ownership of health & safety and transport regulations across the operation.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and performance within Transport and implement effective solutions.
• Recruit, develop and manage performance of colleagues; ensure CPC and service delivery standards are met.
• Make timely decisions to protect customer service and delivery performance while maintaining commercial focus.
