Job summary

ArrowXL is hiring a Transport Supervisor to lead service delivery crews and Team Leaders. You will manage fleets, ensure compliance with Road Transport Regulations and driver CPC, and drive efficiencies across the operation. DBS checks apply for all roles.

This role requires a proactive leader with strong people skills, able to adapt to a changing environment while delivering on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as a Leader/Supervisor in transport operations.
• Strong knowledge of Road Transport Regulations and hold a national CPC.
• Ensure that ‘O’ Licence requirements are adhered to.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Demonstrable experience improving transport operations and introducing operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate your team of skilled service delivery crews and Team Leaders, coaching and developing those who need further support.
• Efficient fleet utilisation, resource planning and cost control while maintaining compliance.
• Taking the lead for legal compliance and safety.
• Identify opportunities for improved efficiencies within the Transport function and implement changes.
• Resourcing, development, and management of all colleagues to ensure training standards.
• Make prompt decisions protecting customer service and delivery schedule while remaining commercially focused.
• Manage on-site resources (colleagues, vehicles, equipment) to meet changing needs.
