As aTransportFLM, you'll play a pivotal role inleadingourdriver teams, ensuringoperationalexcellence,complianceand safety while creating an engaging and positive workingenvironment.

What You'll Do

• Leadthe day-to-daytransportoperation, ensuring allactivitiesare delivered safely,efficientlyandcompliantly.
• Ensure fullcompliancewithOperator Licence (O-Licence)requirementsandtransportlegislation.
• Manage driver performance,engagementand wellbeing through regularcommunication, coaching and structured one-to-one meetings.
• Ensure all drivers have theappropriatetraining, tools andsupportto perform their rolessuccessfully.
• Monitor vehiclecompliance, ensuring defects are reported and resolved promptly.
• Drive a strong safety culture by maintaining the highest standards of health, safety andcompliance.
• Develop, motivate and inspire your team to achieveoperationaland customer excellence.
• Analyseoperationalperformance andidentifyopportunitiesforcontinuousimprovement.
• Work closelywithcolleagues and utilise Waitrose WMS andtransportsystems tosupportoperationalsuccess.
