DHL Supply Chain is recruiting a Transport First Line Manager to support our Avonmouth transport operation, driving safety, service levels, and compliance. You will lead a team, coach colleagues, and ensure timely deliveries while meeting customer requirements in a fast-paced environment.

We value strong communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities, plus proficiency in MS Office and transport management systems like Tachomaster and Microlise.

Pay Rate: £37,027.52 per annum
Grade: N
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Shift Pattern: Tuesday to Friday, 12:00pm to 7:30pm | Saturday, 7:30am to 5:30pm
Location: Avonmouth, BS11 0YW

What You'll Be Doing

As a Transport First Line Manager, you will support the day-to-day management of our transport operation, ensuring the highest standards of safety, service, and compliance are achieved.

• Supporting the daily transport operation to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.
• Leading, motivating, and developing a team to consistently meet customer expectations and operational targets.
• Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring full compliance with all transport legislation and company policies.
• Coaching and engaging colleagues to create a positive, high-performing working environment.
• Monitoring and maintaining compliance with customer requirements, work instructions, and operational procedures.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service excellence.
