East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust seeks a Transport Manager to lead the One LSC transport function across Lancashire Teaching Hospitals. The role focuses on fleet governance, driver training, and strategic KPI oversight to support integrated health system collaboration.

You will drive cost controls, ensure compliance with DVSA and CPC guidelines, and work with Finance and Workforce to deliver service improvements while maintaining staff wellbeing and health and safety standards.

Qualificações

• ILM Level 5 management/leadership or equivalent experience in transport or logistics
• CPC in Road Haulage where relevant or related regulatory knowledge
• Experience with NHS procurement models and budget management

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the One LSC transport service across Lancashire Teaching Hospitals, ensuring alignment with CPC guidance and DVSA requirements
• Manage fleet procurement, vehicle movement and running costs, including leased options
• Ensure Duty of Care for driver training and compliance
• Provide strategic oversight: KPI management, workforce engagement, cross-department collaboration, quality assurance, Health and Safety and staff wellbeing
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Occupational Road Risk policies, COSHH, risk assessments and manual handling
• Identify and implement service improvements; work with Finance and Workforce to provide accurate activity/performance data
• Collaborate with partner Trusts to deliver integrated transport services and value for money
