Qualifications

• Proven experience leading transport operations and remote teams.
• Strong knowledge of UK transport legislation and driver/vehicle compliance.
• Experience with temperature-controlled transport and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to drive efficiency, KPI attainment and safety culture.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and motivate the transport team to ensure engagement and performance.
• Oversee compliant operation of the transport function across LGV/LCV fleets.
• Ensure regulatory, quality and safety standards are met with accurate KPI reporting.
• Manage budgeted transport costs while maintaining service and compliance.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive improvements.
