Zusammenfassung

Interaction Recruitment is seeking a proactive Transport Coordinator for an office-based role in WF2. You will coordinate drivers, manage schedules and handle both pre-planned and reactive jobs to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

The role requires strong IT and scheduling system experience, excellent organisation, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00, with 20 days’ leave plus bank holidays and a birthday off.

Qualifikationen

• Strong IT skills and confidence using computer systems.
• Experience using scheduling or management systems.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and manage competing demands.
• Proactive approach and the ability to think on your feet.
• Good communication skills and the confidence to coordinate multiple people throughout the day.

Aufgaben

• Managing drivers and coordinating their daily workloads.
• Planning and managing routes, including re-routes when priorities change.
• Booking and coordinating emergency and reactive jobs.
• Scheduling pre-planned works and ensuring jobs are allocated efficiently.
• Responding to last-minute changes and resolving operational issues quickly.
• Keeping systems updated with job progress, schedules and relevant information.
• Communicating with drivers, engineers, technicians and other internal teams.
• Ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and customers receive a reliable service.
