Job summary

Evri Group in the UK is seeking a Transport Development Auditor on a 6-month fixed term contract to join our Transport Development Team. You will conduct audits across Evri sites, evaluating safety, compliance and process adherence.

You will prepare for audits remotely using company-approved systems and perform on-site audits as required, delivering clear findings to stakeholders and leadership. Strong data skills and excellent communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine transport audits across Evri sites.
• Prepare for audits using approved systems and perform on-site audits as required.
• Ensure Earned Recognition standards are met prior to visits and collate findings.
• Present audit outcomes and recommendations to site teams and Area leadership.
• Create and maintain audit records in line with DVSA and ISO standards.
• Identify training needs and support succession planning for transport roles.
• Ensure audits are delivered consistently within agreed timeframes.

Our Transport Development Team plays a vital role in raising standards, strengthening road safety, and shaping positive driver and management behaviours across the business. We're now looking for a Transport Development Auditor on a 6-month fixed term contract to join the team and act as a key compliance checkpoint across all Evri sites. This role offers a real opportunity to influence standards, support operational excellence and help shape the future of transport development across our Group.

What you'll be doing:

• Carrying out routine transport audits across all Evri sites, including 28-day, quarterly, bi-annual and annual reviewsPreparing for audits remotely using company-approved systems, followed by on-site audits as required
• Ensuring Earned Recognition standards (Driver and Vehicle) are met prior to physical site visitsCollating audit findings and delivering clear, structured feedback to stakeholders
• Presenting audit outcomes and recommendations to site teams and Area-level leadershipCreating and maintaining audit records in line with DVSA and ISO standardsIdentifying training and development needs for site transport teamsSupporting succession planning by highlighting future talent for transport roles
• Ensuring audits are delivered consistently, fairly and within agreed timeframes
• Contributing to wider Transport Development initiatives and projectsKeeping up to date with legislative changes and industry best practice through continuous professional development

What you'll bring to the role:

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Confident in using Microsoft Office packages
• Professional Competency in Transport Management (CPC) with relevant experience is desirable
• Experience managing processes in a fast-paced operational environment
• Strong understanding of Operator License obligations is desirable
• Proven experience in using TACHO master is desirableProven ability to analyse data, collate information and influence stakeholders
• Experience creating efficient systems and ways of working
• Confident creating and delivering content across a range of transport topics
• Ability to influence through data and insight to all levels across the organisation
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong cross-referencing skills
• Experience supporting and driving change management
