Winner Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Transport Supervisor for the PM shift (14:00-22:30) in Coventry. This hands-on administrative role supports day-to-day operations, focusing on accurate data within transport systems, yard checks, and trailer tracking.

The role emphasizes system accuracy, proactive problem solving, and clear communication with drivers and warehouse teams. Experience in transport/logistics and proficiency in Excel are preferred for this fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Experience in transport, logistics or distribution.
• Understanding of transport operations and terminology.
• Experience with TMS/WMS or similar systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organization and time management.
• Effective communication across departments.
• Ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive and reliable, able to work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and update transport management systems accurately and efficiently.
• Track trailer movements and maintain accurate trailer locations.
• Carry out regular yard checks and reconcile trailer positions with system records.
• Liaise with drivers, warehouse teams and transport colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Maintain accurate transport documentation and records.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies relating to trailers, vehicle movements and system data.
• Input and update transport information in a timely manner.
• Support the transport team with general administrative duties.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and health & safety requirements.
