Job summary

Ridgway Rentals Ltd is seeking a Transport Administrator to join its team based at St Martins, near Oswestry. The role involves supporting the Transport Manager and Director with fleet administration, driver supervision, and routine reporting.

You will handle general admin tasks, prepare reports with legal info, process abnormal load notifications, and assist with day-to-day transport operations including ETA communication. A full clean driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be organised and able to manage their own workload efficiently and accurately.
• Willingness to work some early mornings and some late afternoons/evenings.
• Full training will be provided.
• A full clean driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Transport Manager & Director in managing a fleet of vehicles and drivers.
• Carry out general administration tasks.
• Generate reports including any necessary legal information.
• Complete accurate abnormal load notifications.
• Support day-to-day running of the department including answering calls and providing ETAs for collections and deliveries.
• Drive cars and vans when required.
• Complete timesheets and monitor drivers hours.
