Job summary

Prince Personnel Limited is seeking an Administrator in Logistics for a 6-month fixed-term contract near Whitchurch. The role supports the transport team during a new transport management system rollout and ensures smooth daily operations.

You will assist with planning, update drivers and customers, and manage paperwork while providing general admin support within the transport department.

Qualifications

• Previous administration experience within a busy office environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Confident communication skills, both over the phone and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Review daily transport plans and understand scheduled routes and deliveries.
• Monitor driver updates through the transport system and respond to delays or issues.
• Liaise with customers to provide delivery updates and revised ETA where required.
• Communicate with drivers to obtain information and support the smooth running of daily operations.
• Welcome drivers back at end of routes and collect completed paperwork.
• Provide general administrative support to the transport department.
• Assist the wider team with ad-hoc duties and ensure excellent communication across the operation.
