Job summary

Travail Employment Group is sourcing a Logistics Coordinator for the Corby site of a long-established global manufacturer. You will coordinate inbound/outbound deliveries, liaise with hauliers and customers, manage bookings and stock movements, and support production planning.

The role requires good MS Office skills and a proactive, communicative approach. The position offers a 9–12 month fixed term contract, Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 16:30, with parking and training provided.

Qualifications

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound deliveries to meet production and customer requirements.
• Liaise with hauliers, suppliers, customers, and internal departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Manage transport bookings and shipment schedules.
• Monitor stock movements and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Support production planning by ensuring materials are available as required.
• Track deliveries and proactively resolve any logistics issues or delays.
• Prepare and maintain shipping documentation and compliance paperwork.
• Update ERP and logistics systems with accurate data.
• Produce reports and provide regular updates on shipment performance and stock levels.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve logistics processes and efficiencies.
