Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking a dedicated Control Tower Administrator to support daily transport operations from Lutterworth/Magna Park. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service while coordinating carrier performance and maintaining accurate records.

You will monitor KPIs, produce timely reports, and proactively resolve issues to uphold high service standards across the supply chain. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering customer service and resolving operational enquiries.
• Experience managing or coordinating transport carriers, subcontractors or third-party logistics providers.
• Strong IT skills, including transport management systems, spreadsheets and reporting tools.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service and Issue Resolution: respond to enquiries, inform customers of progress, monitor SLAs, investigate delays, escalate issues, build relationships.
• Transport Carrier and Operational Management: coordinate daily carrier performance, ensure service standards, liaise with warehouse teams, track bookings and deliveries.
• Administration and Systems: maintain TMS data, process bookings, update records, maintain documentation, produce reports.
• Reporting and Continuous Improvement: generate KPI reports, monitor performance, identify risks, drive efficiency and service improvements.
