Pertemps Leicester Industrial is seeking a proactive Control Tower Administrator to support daily transport operations from Lutterworth/ Magna Park. You will act as the main contact for customers and carriers, coordinate bookings and monitor service levels.

The role requires strong IT skills, excellent communication, and keen attention to detail. Working hours are Monday to Friday, with a starting pay rate of £12.71 per hour and a potential raise on permanency.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and resolving operational enquiries.
• Experience coordinating transport carriers, subcontractors or third-party logistics providers.
• Strong IT skills, including experience with transport management systems, spreadsheets and reporting tools.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service.

Responsabilités

• Provide timely customer service, respond to enquiries and update on delivery progress.
• Coordinate daily transport carrier performance and liaison with subcontractors to meet service standards.
• Maintain accurate transport records in TMS and related systems; process bookings and generate reports.
• Produce transport performance and KPI reports; identify issues and drive improvements.
