Job summary

dnata UK is seeking a Transport Manager to own compliance, safety and operational excellence across our transport operation. You will ensure policies, procedures and regulatory requirements are applied consistently, while driving performance and continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Head of Fleet UK, you will lead teams, manage fleet maintenance, liaise with regulators and customers, and foster a culture of accountability in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment.

Qualifications

• CPC in transport management and safety compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Operator Licence requirements and related legislation.
• Experience ensuring fleet compliance and safety in regulated environments.
• Proven leadership and ability to coach teams to meet KPI targets.
• Experience handling investigations and working with HR policies.

Responsibilities

• Own fleet compliance and utilisation: ensure vehicles are maintained, documented and audit-ready per Operator Licence standards.
• Drive performance: review transport plans, improve KPI/SLA performance and implement corrective actions.
• Be the trusted voice: liaison with regulators, customers and airport authorities on compliance matters.
• Champion safety: lead health and safety initiatives and investigations to foster a safety-first culture.
• Lead from the front: coach teams, set high standards and engage in collaborative management.
