Job summary

Executive Network Group is seeking a Transport Compliance Manager in Birmingham to oversee compliance within the Transport Department, including the garage. This role ensures health, safety and customer service levels are met and drives improvements in statutory compliance.

Key duties include leading the team, maintaining regulatory requirements, and developing KPIs to improve service and cost efficiency. The position is permanent and on-site with a 38.5-hour week.

Qualifications

• Team leader/manager experience in a transport department.
• GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence; travel to other sites as required.
• Transport Manager CPC ideally.
• Management qualification (ILM or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Transport Operations Manager.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and SLAs for the department.
• Maintain SSOWs and SOPs and train team members.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance and drivers' hours and infringements.
• Conduct random inspections and take corrective actions.
• Develop Transport KPIs and report costs and savings.
